Have you ever thought of the difference of God’s Glory

in heaven and on earth?

written by Zach Wheatley

Have you ever thought of the difference of God’s Glory in heaven and earth? I love to just to compare and contrast on different things. One thing I have thought about lately is the difference on “time” in God’s eyes and with us, His creation.

Have you ever heard the expression, “God is waiting for you.” Or something to do with God is waiting? I have been thinking about that phrase lately, and what does it mean.

Rev 10:6

"The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to heaven and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer..."

If God is waiting on us and there is no time in heaven, what does that mean? It doesn’t make sense. So the phrase can’t be used properly. It can’t be used at all. So how can our life keep going with God in heaven? Is He watching our lives day by day? If so, how? Its just something to ponder on.

I know everyone has their own ideas and everyone may think something different. But it also doesn’t mean we are all incorrect on what we think.

The way I see it, its like we (God’s people) are a canvas. Our God is painting us. We are His work. After each stroke of paint, God takes a look at us and adds another stroke to make His work more beautiful and detailed. Each time He steps back and adds a stroke, that is a point of our whole lives gone by. Over and over He adds another fine, detailed streak of paint. Sometimes its thick, and sometimes its small and not even noticeable, and other times He has to mix a few colors to get some special effect.. And when He is finished, He has a wonderful, colorful work  of art. We are His masterpiece. His creation.

I know it this may seem kind of out there and doesn’t make a lot of sense, but just use your imagination. There are many things in God’s creation that we can’t even fathom or imagine.
